Paula and I are flying out tomorrow to be there. We are going to pick up David Holladay in Asheville and then drive over to Gastonia for the birthday party.

    Condolences.
I am the granddaughter of Ernest Thompson Seton and have recently republished his autobiography. I am speaking at the Hornaday Conservation Weekend in the San Francisco Bay area in late October. As I was researching the Camp Fire Club and other connections between Hornaday and Seton, I came across your story about your trip to Cos Cob and my grandfather’s old homestead. That led me to this blog post about Steve Watts. I trust his memory is a blessing to you and all he knew.

I’m impressed with the Master Woodsman organization. I have had several inquiries about organizations that promulgate Woodcraft values. This seems to be one of those. Maybe we should talk?
