Custom Carry Axe Sheath

Had the recent pleasure of spending time with my good friends Joe Flowers and Steve Watts.  On this particular day, Steve led a small group of Outdoor Living Skill enthusiasts in the manufacture of a custom carry axe sheath.

Have to say, I am very fond of this new way to carry an axe…  Suspect now the word will get out on this solution… will only be a matter of time before someone starts to sell or manufacture.  Remember, you heard it hear first!  😉

Great idea! I live in an area where i have to search for wood and use an axe practically every day here in the mountains, and this idea will free my hands while i take the wood back to my house. Thanks for sharing!

Sorry Eddie, I won’t be making these. There is a tutorial from Watts and Wescott in a couple different periodicals you should be able to find. Best, Chris
